The candidate will be required to perform TIG and MIG welding on aluminium, stainless-steel and carbon steel.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, grinding, and fitting components as required.

• Read and follow engineering drawings to ensure accurate and precise weld placements and fabrications.

• Attention to detail in all welding and fabrication tasks.

• Maintain and clean welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly.

• Record and document welding and fabrication activities, including materials used & weld settings.

Experience & Skills

• Experienced in performing TIG and MIG welding on aluminium, stainless-steel & carbon steel materials

• Comprehensive understanding of welding and fabrication safety protocols and procedures.

• Demonstrate a professional and courteous attitude at all times.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Salary

 

• £30,000 (plus overtime available) 

• Full-Time (8-hour shift, Monday-Thursday, 7-hour shift Fridays)
